Directions For Use
For use as an aid in the treatment of milk fever, grass tetany and other conditions associated with calcium, magnesium and phosphorous deficiencies. Administer intravenously, intra-muscularly, or subcutaneously. If given subcutaneously or intra-muscularly, divide the dosage among several locations. Massage the points of injections to aid in absorption to help inflammation and/or sloughing.
Dosage and Administration
Cattle: 250 to 500 ml
If there is no noticeable improvement in the condition being treated after 3 to 4 days of treatment, the diagnosis should be redetermined and appropriate measures taken.
Aseptic precautions should be observed such as withdrawing from the bottle through a sterile 14 or 16 gauge needle into a sterile syringe. Disinfect the site of the injection.
Cautions: Solution should be warmed to room temperature and
administered slowly.
