After earning a Bachelors of Science from the University of Victoria, Gillian began volunteering at a large Veterinary Hospital where she was exposed to the growing field of veterinary technology. The more she learned, the more she knew it was for her.
Gillian packed up and moved to Kamloops to attend the Animal Health Technology program at Thompson Rivers University (then known as College of the Caribou). Upon receiving her AHT diploma, Gillian worked in veterinarian practice for six years in BC’s Lower Mainland, where she gained valuable experience in various emergency clinics, critical care hospitals and general practice.
Gillian decided her next move would be to the industry side of the veterinary world. Her clinic experience helps her provide knowledgeable, behind the scenes support to veterinary teams across British Columbia. She prides herself on her ability to understand what is really important to clinics, matching products and services that help provide the best care possible.
When she’s not connecting with veterinary clinics, Gillian can be found in the gym, where this avid power lifter makes short work of heavy weights. You’ll also find her and her husband hiking in the woods with Maximus, their English Staffordshire Terrier.
