“In the arms of the angel, fly away from here” yes, we all remember Sarah McLauchlan’s pull at your heartstring’s commercials for the SPCA in the 90’s; for a young Tiffany, those ads were a beacon of who she wanted to be. She’s
loved animals all her life and dreamt of saving every last one of the dogs and cats featured in those ads. Staying true to her calling, Tiffany first completed her Equine Management certificate from the University of Guelph, before attending Algonquin College earning a diploma as a Veterinary Technician.
Tiffany has 10 years’ experience working as an RVT in a many different clinical settings. Including a mix of small and large animal practices along with educational institutions both as a technician and instructor at the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, respectively. It turned out that Tiffany is just as passionate about developing relationships with
people as she is about protecting animals. She finds helping pet parents and students learn how to provide the best care and treatment of animals equally as fulfilling as caring for the animals herself.
When she’s not visiting clinics in Saskatchewan and Manitoba on behalf of McCarthy, Tiffany can be found volunteering for a local cat rescue and for spay/neuter/wellness clinics in northern Saskatchewan. She also enjoys road trips, camping, gardening, creating art and playing board games. Rumour is, her neighbours can hear her singing “may you find some comfort here” to
her two rescue cats; Bea a six-year-old, black domestic short hair and Uno a one-year-old, white and tabby domestic short hair.
